On Saturday, March 7th, our community will unite for a meaningful cause. Speakers for Africa invites you to “An Evening to Empower,” a fundraiser dinner at Bistro Del Lago in Evergreen. This event combines great food, live music, and local generosity to directly support vulnerable students in Uganda.
This isn’t just a dinner — it’s an opportunity where your ticket transforms into real impact.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Every dollar raised helps us eliminate barriers to education for children eager to learn. Thanks to supporters like you, we have already achieved remarkable milestones:
Built school desks so students no longer sit on dirt floors.
Provided daily school lunches.
Renovated kitchens for safer meal preparation.
Constructed pit latrines and sanitation facilities.
Supported boys’ and girls’ athletic programs.
Served over 1,400 students across Uganda.
And we’re just getting started! This year, we aim to build additional sanitation facilities and improve classrooms, ensuring students have dignity, safety, and better learning environments.
